The irony of our styled shoot
The amazingly talented Chantelle Edwards of C & E Collective and I worked our tails off planning a Norfolk County Winter Styled Wedding Shoot earlier this week. I mean, with talented professionals covering the skill sets that they do living right here in Norfolk- it actually wasn't that hard. Before you go any further and find yourself seriously disappointed.. you won't find any pictures OF THE ACTUAL SHOOT. They're top secret and mailed off to Bridal magainzes across the country. So until we get some kinda legitimate shout out those puppies are in the vault. BUT, don't give up on me yet, this story still has a few sneak peeks and one heck of a fairy tale ending.
Whimsical, romantic, personal, vintage, elegant and needed to have character behind it. I don't think that's too much to ask.
FIRST STEP VENUE- Clonmel Castle, duh. Check, check, check, check, check and check. All criteria met. Plus Lyneee the chatelaine is just a doll. Warm tea and lunch for everyone! Hostess with the mostest for sure.
Decorator- the creative and insightful Bobbi Jo Griffin of Unveiled designs, she has it all. Literally, she even taped into her personal china to get us back on track.
Hair- the lovely and insanely busy and successful Katie Moore of Texture Hair Concepts (bridal hair dreams can come true!)
Makeup- Amanda McFarlane of Beauty by Amanda. Sephora inventory goddess like no other and medical aesthetician as well :).
Hollywood Weddings- to the rescue Steffi and her mother banged out some seriously jaw dropping pieces with wispy greenery and deep colours. Currently still lusting.
Obviously the talented Chantelle of C & E Collective capturing every moment in real time.
Designs by Cassia worked out our invitation suite and beautiful calligraphy mirror.
Carter's Mens Wear of Simcoe styled our "groom for the day" out head to toe and he was looking the part ladies!
Lea-Ann Belter designs provided dress wear for the breathtaking Sierra "bride for the day".
Anyways- back to the point- the styled shoot was superb as you can image with the above line up. BUT here's the juicy part you've been waiting for. Our models Josh and Sierra also a real life couple are so in love it's next level. They're infatuated with each other and you can literally feel it. It's not too often I get that feeling from another couple when I'm not actually working a wedding.
Last shots of the day, we put our couples back to back on the rolling hills of Clonmel Castle and Chantelle snaps shots of them gazing off onto the property line in opposite directions. We count them down for a three, two, one faux 'surprised reveal photo' only to give Josh the perfect opportunity to drop to one knee and propose in real time to Sierra. Bride for the day to bride to be in under 5 seconds!
Enough of the description, view the pictures and see for yourself.
Congratulations to Josh and Sierra! Thank you so much for letting us be apart of your special moment.
